Shiatsu is a popular and powerful complementary therapy based on the same principles as acupuncture , utilising the same system of points and meridians, and the same underlying body model. Instead of using needles, however, shiatsu practitioners use pressure primarily applied using the thumbs and hands to influence and rebalance the body's energetic system. See ‘What is Shiatsu? '

Shiatsu is truly holistic, treating the whole body, not just the symptom. As such it is used to treat a wide range of conditions from physical aches and pains, to asthma, ME, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, menstrual and digestive disorders right through to psychological and emotional problems. Andrew's main clinic is just outside Hadleigh at Raydon , convenient for much of north Essex where he sees clients from north Essex and the surrounding area. He also has a weekly clinic at the Constable Country Medical Practice in East Bergholt, close to the A12 and north Essex.
